"I’ve always been a collector of small moments. As a writer of literary fiction, I find my stories in the gaps between the 'big' events of life. I’m drawn to the [Genre, e.g., Domestic Fiction] tradition—stories that find the epic within the ordinary. Through my work, I strive to create a space for empathy, inviting readers to step into skin other than their own and grapple with the beautiful, messy contradictions of being alive."
